activities to encourage connection

  • swinging together

  • reading inside/outside

  • blowing bubbles/using bubble wands

  • drawing with chalk

  • eating snack or a meal together

  • going for a walk

  • library trip

  • watch a favorite TV show/movie together and talk about it
